±0.003" or ±0.001"
Straightness is how far a shaft is allowed to bow along its length. The tighter grade cuts the variation between arrows, which shows most at longer distances. Choose ±0.003" for training volume and club use, ±0.001" for competition.
4.0 mm or 3.2 mm
A slimmer shaft presents less surface to a crosswind, so 3.2 mm suits outdoor target distances. 4.0 mm is the all-round choice, indoors and out.

Each shaft's stiffness is read under a set load, so the dozen shares one real spine.
Indexing
We find each shaft's stiff side and mark it, so every nock can sit the same way.
Weight
Every shaft is weighed and the spread across the dozen is recorded.
Analysis
Principal component analysis combines every reading to find the shafts that behave alike. Your twelve ship with an Arrow Certificate.
